Competing in the Hunter Division has long been a facet of basic horse training. Unless ruled out by awkward movement or unstable temperment every horse should start his career over jumps as a hunter. Of course if he excels in that field, he should stay there.
The American system of stylish hunter riding and the discipline and accuracy required in our horsemanship division has made "soft" and "fluid" by-words, not just here in the United States, but thanks to our U.S.E.T., all over the world.
I always have a few hunter and equitation horses available for sale and always enjoy helping riders prepare for these classes.
